Ideal Mangaluru Blue Run 2026 - Karnataka, India

Ideal Mangaluru Blue Run 2026 brings runners to Karnataka’s coastal city on Sunday, 8 November for a race morning inspired by the Netravati and Gurupura rivers. Both waterways are central to life in Mangaluru, flowing towards the Arabian Sea through communities that depend on their health. The organisers are using the event to encourage environmental awareness alongside everyday fitness, with a stated ambition to operate as a zero-plastic-waste run.

The programme caters for different experience levels: a timed 21 km run, timed 10 km and 5 km races, and a relaxed 3 km fun run. The timed categories offer age-group cash prizes, with eligibility for runners in timed categories subject to the race rules, finishing requirements and participation thresholds. Optional inspiration-medal upgrades do not create separate prize divisions.

Before race day

• Event hub: Canara High School Urwa, Nehru Avenue Road, Lalbagh, Mangaluru. This is the advertised gathering venue; check the final runner guide for the precise start pen and course.
• Race morning: Public event listings indicate an early-morning programme around 4:00–4:30 am. Individual category flag-off times have not been independently confirmed, so follow the organiser’s latest schedule rather than assuming these are start times.
• Race pack: Bring valid identification for kit or bib collection; the organisers require bibs to be worn visibly. The collection dates and venue have not been independently confirmed.
• Eligibility and results: Age is calculated as at 8 November 2026. Organisers may verify ages and identity before making awards.
• Entries: Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable under published event conditions. Route arrangements can change for safety reasons.

This is a good option for runners wanting a meaningful local event, from a short shared outing to a timed distance effort, with the waterways and environmental health of Mangaluru firmly in focus.
