Event Detail
The Jhansi Half Marathon 2026 brings runners to the historic Jhansi Fort in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday 1 November. The programme mixes a competitive, chip-timed half marathon and 10K with accessible, untimed 5K and 2K community runs. The city’s heritage and the legacy of Rani Lakshmibai provide the backdrop for an event designed for first-time participants, regular runners and families alike.
Race-day programme and course
The organiser advertises the event programme from 06:00 Indian Standard Time. Precise starting times for each distance, wave allocations and the final course map are still to be circulated to entrants: do not assume all four categories start together at 06:00. The published event venue is Jhansi Fort, although the race organiser says detailed starting and finishing arrangements will be confirmed directly to registrants. Route marshals, wayfinding signs, hydration points and volunteers are planned along the course.
Official cut-offs are 3 hours 30 minutes for the half marathon, 2 hours for the 10K, and 60 minutes each for the 5K and 2K. The two longer categories carry timing-chip bibs, while the shorter fun runs are explicitly untimed. Entrants should wear their assigned bib visibly on their chest and follow marshals’ instructions. The registration platform lists minimum ages of 18 for the half marathon, 8 for the 10K and 6 for either fun run.
Entry, race packs and safety
The organiser's live registration provider lists 30 October 2026 as the final online-entry date, subject to entries remaining available. Participants should complete booking through the linked official platform rather than depend on race-day registration. The organiser schedules bib collection on Saturday 31 October, 13:00–18:00 IST; it has not yet confirmed the precise collection counter location in its current notice. Check your registered email and phone for the final instructions, identification requirements, route access and parking arrangements.
First-aid and ambulance teams, a baggage counter, washrooms, course volunteers, warm-up activities and post-race refreshments are advertised. Prize awards include male and female age-group places in the half marathon, and men's and women's overall podiums in the 10K. The shorter fun-run categories are intended as non-competitive participation opportunities. The event is organised by District Administration, Jhansi, supported by Nagar Nigam Jhansi, and managed by Thrill Zone. Confirm any late alterations with the organiser before travelling.
