Event Detail
The inaugural MET City International Half Marathon brings runners to Reliance MET City, an emerging business and residential development in Jhajjar, Haryana, near Gurugram. Rather than tackling busy central Delhi streets, participants run on the development's broad, mostly flat roads. The organisers describe the setting as open and green, with a course designed to favour consistent pacing and personal-best attempts.
Race morning, Sunday 25 October
The 21.1 km half marathon starts at 6:30 am, followed by the timed 10K at 7:00 am and the 5K fun run/walk at 7:30 am (Indian Standard Time). Runners must report one hour before their category starts. The completion limits are 3 hours 30 minutes for the half marathon, 90 minutes for the 10K and 60 minutes for the 5K. The longer races use electronic timing and provide downloadable timing certificates; the 5K is an untimed community participation event. Minimum ages are 18, 15 and 12 respectively.
Getting there and preparing
The venue is Reliance MET City in the Aurangpur/Yakubpur area of Jhajjar, around 30 km by road from central Gurugram. Check the organiser's final arrival instructions and gate access before travelling. The location pin is an approximate MET City development reference, not a surveyed race-start coordinate. The organisers advertise on-course hydration and medical support, a recovery area, toilets and limited baggage storage.
Bib and event T-shirt collection is scheduled for Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, at the MET City Club & Convention Centre or the selected Gurugram pickup option. Bring your bib number/confirmation and original photo ID. There is no bib collection on race morning. Online race registration closed on 15 October 2026, and no new race-day entries are available.
The event's prize programme recognises the fastest men and women in the half marathon and 10K, with separate age-category trophies. Organiser announcements made before the event gave an earlier start schedule; the current race-day information page confirms the 6:30/7:00/7:30 am timetable above.
