Peekay Steel Coastal Marathon Kozhikode 2026

The Peekay Steel Coastal Marathon 2026 brings runners to Kozhikode’s Arabian Sea waterfront on Sunday 1 November, celebrating Kerala Piravi with a mix of competitive road racing and inclusive community running. Presented by Manorama Quickerala with Peekay Steel, the programme combines a 21 km half marathon, a 10 km mini marathon, a relaxed 3 km fun run and a special 1,956-metre children’s run, a nod to the year Kerala was formed. The children's event is 1.956 km, not exactly 2 km.

Race-day experience

Expect a seafront atmosphere around Calicut Beach, a pre-race Zumba session, on-course drinking water and medical/physiotherapy support. Timed bibs are advertised for the 21 km and 10 km races; the 3 km category is untimed. Organisers anticipate thousands of participants, with families, schools and corporate groups welcome. The course and exact assembly points should be checked on the organiser’s event page before race day; the map marker is near the listed lighthouse landmark rather than a surveyed start-line coordinate.

Registration and participation

The organiser’s booking page advertises early-bird entry prices and non-refundable tickets. Check current entry availability directly with the organiser before making plans. Separate arrangements are available for corporate and group bookings. Minimum ages are 16 for 21 km, 12 for 10 km, 15 for 3 km and 4 for the children’s run.

The programme includes cash and age-group awards, with additional costume prizes for families, groups and corporate teams. While named a marathon, the longest advertised race is 21 km, not 42.195 km.
