Event Detail

UST Trivandrum Marathon 2026 returns to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, on Sunday 15 November for its third edition. Announced by technology company UST and delivered with NEB Sports, the race is expected to welcome more than 15,000 participants after its 2025 edition attracted over 10,000. The event starts and finishes at UST Campus in Technopark Phase II, Kulathoor, giving runners four ways to take part in Kerala's capital city's major road-running gathering.

City course and timing

The organiser describes routes through Thiruvananthapuram's urban landscape, but final detailed course maps and individual race flag-off times have not yet been published on the official race website. Start times remain to be announced; follow the official final race briefing. Official cut-offs are six hours for the 42.2K marathon, with the first loop completed within three hours; 3 hours 30 minutes for the half marathon; 90 minutes for 10K; and one hour for the 5K. Course support and finisher certification are not provided after the cut-off.

Runners and eligibility

The 42.2K marathon and 21.1K half marathon require entrants to be at least 18 on race day. The 10K requires 14+ and the 5K 6+; children under 12 in the 5K must remain accompanied by an adult throughout. Timed races use an individual bib and chip, which must not be exchanged or transferred. Runners must wear bibs visibly on the front of their shirts and follow route marshals' directions.

Registration

The organiser-linked MySamay booking page, checked on 25 October 2026, marks all four categories as registration open until 30 October 2026, subject to remaining capacity. Current advertised fees are INR 1,500 (marathon), 1,250 (half marathon), 700 (10K) and 350 (5K), with 18% GST additional. No precise closing time is verified. Confirm the final checkout total and availability with the booking provider. No walk-in registration is offered.

Bib collection, race packs and conditions

The organisers say the bib expo takes place on the two days before race day and that there is no event-day bib collection; exact venue and hours remain to be announced. Participants receive an event T-shirt and hot breakfast, and timed distances receive appropriate timing chips. The website's general terms include non-transferable bib rules and differing treatment of refunds, postponement and organiser cancellation; obtain written clarification before relying on individual cancellation or category-change eligibility. Check the official event site and registration confirmation emails for final start waves, course maps and expo arrangements.
