BALI — One of Bali’s most anticipated running events is officially making its return. Bank BPD Bali Culture Run 2026 is back for its third edition, bringing together running, culture, tourism, entertainment, and sustainability into one memorable experience.
Organized by PT Vinda Creative Event with Bank BPD Bali as the title partner, the event continues its mission of promoting healthy lifestyles while showcasing Bali’s cultural heritage and supporting sustainable tourism. This year’s event is expected to attract 4,000 participants from Indonesia and abroad, further establishing Bali as one of Asia’s leading sport tourism destinations.
Carrying the theme “Menjejak Bumi, Lestari Harmoni”, Culture Run 2026 encourages participants to reconnect with nature while embracing the importance of preserving local culture and protecting the environment. Every stride represents a collective effort toward creating a more sustainable future.
CEO of PT Vinda Creative Event, Sang Ayu Heninda Lestari, emphasized the event’s long-term vision:
“Entering its third edition, Bank BPD Bali Culture Run continues to grow into an event that not only attracts participants from various regions of Indonesia, but also from abroad. We want to present an event that not only offers a running competition, but also introduces the beauty of Bali’s nature and culture, leaving a lasting impression on every participant.”
She also highlighted the event’s sustainability commitment:
“As a form of implementing sustainable principles, the waste management results from this activity will be carried out in collaboration with environmental activists. We hope the small steps taken together through Culture Run can deliver a real positive impact on the environment, society, and a more sustainable future.”
Hosted at the breathtaking Peninsula Island, The Nusa Dua, runners will enjoy spectacular coastal scenery overlooking the Indian Ocean while experiencing Bali’s unique cultural atmosphere throughout the course. Beyond the race itself, participants can also look forward to live entertainment featuring DJ Una, adding an exciting post-run celebration to the event.
As one of Indonesia’s premier integrated tourism destinations, The Nusa Dua sees the event as more than just a race.
General Manager I Made Agus Dwiatmika stated:
“Bank BPD Bali Culture Run 2026 is a real example of how an event can integrate sport, culture, tourism, and sustainability into one valuable experience. As an integrated tourism area that prioritizes sustainability principles, The Nusa Dua remains committed to being home to various quality activities that not only attract tourist visits, but also inspire a healthy lifestyle, cultural preservation, and care for the environment.”
He further added:
“Through organizing events like Culture Run, we want to show that a tourist destination can become a space for collaboration that drives economic, social, and environmental impact at the same time. The presence of thousands of participants from various regions is also expected to further strengthen The Nusa Dua’s position as a leading event destination in Indonesia and the Asian region.”
Through collaboration between PT Vinda Creative Event, Bank BPD Bali, government institutions, local communities, tourism stakeholders, and environmental organizations, Bank BPD Bali Culture Run 2026 aims to continue driving the growth of sport tourism while raising public awareness about sustainability and cultural preservation.
More than just a running event, Culture Run represents a movement—one that invites runners to take meaningful steps toward a healthier lifestyle, a greener environment, and a stronger appreciation for Bali’s cultural heritage.
