NusantaRun Chapter 14: Denpasar - Karangasem (Bali Series)

NusantaRun Chapter 14, Denpasar to Karangasem (Bali Series), is a long-distance charity run raising funds to improve access to education in Indonesia. Organised by Yayasan Lari Nusantara, the 2026 edition follows the #NeverDone mission, linking communities across Bali from Denpasar and Gianyar to the finish in Amed, Karangasem.

Race-day schedule (5 December 2026, WITA)

• Full Course (104K): Starts at 05:00 from Dinas Pendidikan, Pemuda, dan Olahraga (Disdikpora) Provinsi Bali, Renon, Denpasar. The start area opens at 03:00 and closes at 05:30.
• Half Course (75K): Starts at 13:00 from Alun-Alun Kota Gianyar, which also serves as checkpoint 2 of the Full Course. The start area opens at 10:00 and closes at 13:30.
• Finish: Hotel Uyah Amed & Spa Resort, Amed, Karangasem. The published checkpoint timetable indicates a final closing time of 13:00 WITA on Sunday, 6 December 2026; confirm the final cut-off details with the organiser.

Route and checkpoints

The Full Course has five checkpoints, while the Half Course has three. The published course passes Sukawati, Gianyar, Goa Lawah, Sengkidu and Taman Ujung before reaching Amed. Organiser route locations are marked as subject to confirmation and may change.

Charity mission and participation

This is a non-competitive fundraising event, with no winners or prize money. Participants must be aged 18 or older and are expected to meet the organiser's endurance-running requirements. Each participant commits to a minimum fundraising target of IDR 7,000,000, of which IDR 1,500,000 must be raised before the start. The fundraising period is 28 September 2026 to 17 January 2027.

Runners must present mandatory safety gear including a headlamp, emergency blanket, reflective/LED equipment, running vest, at least 1.5 litres of water capacity, raincoat/windbreaker, route map or GPX, identification and emergency essentials. Check the official participant guide before race day. Optional shuttle services are separately paid and should be verified directly with the organiser because the official timetable currently includes some outdated year labels.
