Royal Trail Run Batu 2026

Royal Trail Run 2026 is a 10 km trail race in the hills around Sumberejo, Kota Batu, East Java, on Sunday 20 December 2026. Held to celebrate the anniversary of Royal Hotel & Villa Batu, the event is presented jointly with Batu Runners and is designed to be approachable for runners trying trail racing for the first time. Expect greener hillsides, village surroundings and cooler highland air rather than a flat road-racing course.

Course, venue and eligibility

• Start and finish: Royal Hotel & Villa, Jalan Indragiri, Sumberejo, Kota Batu. The organiser explicitly identifies the hotel as both start and finish.
• Distance: 10 km trail. The full route and elevation profile are still marked coming soon on the official website.
• Eligibility: Open (Umum) and Student (Pelajar) divisions for Indonesian citizens. Student entrants must be 18 or younger, and the registration form requires student identification.
• Flag-off: The public organiser website does not yet confirm an exact race start time. ARC's currently displayed 06:00 WIB should be treated as an unverified scheduling placeholder until the organiser publishes a programme.

Entry options and race benefits

The organiser now advertises four current regular entry packages. With-jersey tickets cost IDR 225,000 for Open and IDR 200,000 for Student; without-jersey tickets cost IDR 125,000 for Open and IDR 95,000 for Student. All four include a bib, finisher medal, sponsored product, water stations, refreshments, doorprize eligibility and event photography. Only the with-jersey packages include a race jersey. Promotional/early-bird figures appearing in earlier listings must not be assumed available now.

Competition and practical notes

The organiser advertises first-, second- and third-place podium awards for male and female runners in both Open and Student divisions, with an overall prize allocation described as tens of millions of rupiah. Individual cash awards are not yet specified. Check the organiser's live entry form for package availability and confirmation requirements.

Registration opened on 8 June 2026, and the organiser's current website shows a working registration pathway; no final closing date has been independently confirmed. Race-pack collection dates, final route files, detailed aid-station placement, mandatory equipment and any cancellation or deferral rules are not yet published in the materials checked. Confirm these directly before travelling.
