Batam Fun Run 7.8K 2027

Batam Fun Run 7.8K is a relaxed, Chinese New Year-themed community run and walk through the Nagoya district of Batam on Sunday 24 January 2027. Organised by Phoenix Event Batam, it welcomes people who prefer to run or walk at their own pace. There is no timing chip or podium competition, and the organiser has not yet confirmed a flag-off time.

Important registration update, 1 November 2026

The IDR 200,000 Blindbirds registration period has ended. The organiser's official terms set the deadline at 23:59 WIB on 31 October 2026, or earlier if its limited allocation filled. The IDR 200,000 figure below is retained as a historical, expired promotional price, not an offer of currently available tickets. Previously issued QRIS payment requests may remain payable until their own invoice expiry; this does not reopen the promotion.

The organiser advertises other individual and community categories through 31 December 2026, plus a UIB student option advertised at IDR 150,000 subject to university verification. The website loads current capacity and some prices dynamically, so live availability and ordinary individual/community checkout prices could not be confirmed. Review the official registration options rather than trying to book the expired Blindbirds offer. Do not assume the event as a whole is sold out.

Course and start point

The official route is 7.8 km, starting in the Simpang Martabak HAR area of Nagoya, with a loop taking in Nagoya Thamrin City, Grand Batam Mall, BCS Mall, Casa Medical Utama Clinic, Universitas Putera Batam Nagoya, Masjid Al Falah Seraya, Nagoya Hill Hotel, Planet Holiday Hotel and McDonald's Kampung Bule. Two water stations are marked on the organiser's published route map. The map pin is approximate; check final access and assembly instructions with organisers.

Race packs and practical arrangements

Phoenix Event Batam has not yet disclosed the full race-pack design and inclusions or the exact collection venue and timetable. An electronic bib/ticket is issued after payment verification; participants should retain their QR ticket for collection. The organiser's website notes that XXL and 3XL apparel sizes attract a IDR 5,000 surcharge per garment. Confirm final sizing and inclusions before purchasing. Door prizes are promoted, but recipients and conditions are not guaranteed.
