Chicken & Egg Run 2026

Chicken & Egg Run 2026 celebrates Indonesia's National Chicken and Egg Day (Hari Ayam dan Telur Nasional) with a family-friendly running festival organised by PINSAR Indonesia and event partners in central Yogyakarta.

Setting and race programme

The start and finish area is advertised at Museum Benteng Vredeburg near the historic Malioboro district. The event also features a community celebration after the races.

A 2.5K Family Run for one adult and one child is offered alongside the 5K and 10K. Its published general fee is IDR 250,000; an earlier early-bird rate was IDR 200,000. The 2.5K distance cannot currently be indexed because it is absent from the reference-data list, while creating it reports an existing slug. The family race is therefore described here until the distance reference is made available.

A race calendar gives an event time of 05:00 WIB. The individual distance flag-off times have not been confirmed by the organiser. Published cut-off limits are 60 minutes (family), 90 minutes (5K) and 120 minutes (10K).

Registration closing time, precise start gate and race-pack pickup arrangements have not been confirmed. Map coordinates identify the museum complex, not a confirmed starting arch.
