Event Detail
Manunggal Run 2026 is a short-distance road running event listed for Saturday, 24 October 2026 in Pengasih, Kulon Progo, part of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The programme offers two different challenges: a 3K race for primary-school pupils and a 7K race for secondary-school pupils and general participants. These distances and entry divisions make it different from a standard adult 5K fun run.
Race setting in Pengasih
The announced venue is Lapangan Pengasih, a community sports field in the Pengasih area of Kulon Progo. Race listings place the event start at approximately 06:00 WIB. This is a calendar time, rather than a separately verified organiser flag-off, so entrants should seek the final start schedule before travelling. Specific course turns, traffic arrangements, road closures and the exact start-and-finish configuration have not been confirmed for this edition.
Pengasih sits inland from the Kulon Progo coast, within reach of Wates and other population centres in western Yogyakarta. A community-field setting can make an approachable gathering point for school-age runners and local clubs, although the event's actual course profile is unknown. Participants should not assume that the 7K route is flat or that chip timing or road certification will be provided.
Categories and entry information
The provisional listings describe 3K for primary-school students and equivalent school levels, and 7K for junior and senior secondary students, vocational-school students and general participants.
Both categories are listed as free of charge. However, the organiser has not independently confirmed the fee or eligibility rules in an accessible first-party announcement. Runners and parents should verify whether advance booking, school identification, proof of age or parental consent is required. Participants should not assume that the race is open for walk-in registration.
Confirming race-day arrangements
The race listings provide a WhatsApp enquiries number and direct readers towards the KONI Kulon Progo Instagram account for local sport information. No verified list of participant benefits, shirts, medals, prize amounts or race-pack collection appointments was available. Those details have deliberately not been added as promised inclusions.
Before participating, confirm the precise field entrance, race distance for the entrant's school year, assembly and flag-off times, and any registration deadline.
