Event Detail
OSJ KAMI 100 is the final round of Japan's 2026 OSJ Trail Running Series, held in the Hachikita Highlands of Kami-cho, Hyogo Prefecture. The race is organised by the OSJ KAMI 100 Executive Committee with Power Sports and uses Hachikita Onsen Toji no Sato as both start and finish. Kami-cho's official tourism authority describes a mountainous course made up of more than 80% trail, with singletrack, rocks, stream crossings and forest roads. This is a technical mountain challenge, not a road marathon.
Three mountain routes
The organisers advertise 100K (approximately 101 km), 70K (approximately 67 km) and 30K (approximately 34 km). All three have a 10:00 am Japan-time start on Saturday 31 October 2026. The course limits are 25 hours, 15 hours 30 minutes and nine hours respectively. The 100K covers three laps, with an optional registered pacer permitted only for the third lap. Entry caps are 300 athletes for 100K, 200 for 70K and 100 for 30K. ARC does not currently have an exact structured 70K filter; the original advertised name and actual approximate length should be used, not an invented 50K distance. The advertised 30K route is approximately 34 km.
Registration and race-day practicalities
Entries closed on 12 October 2026. The scheduled competitor check-in is Friday 30 October, 1:00-6:00 pm, or Saturday 31 October, 7:30-9:45 am, at Hachikita Onsen. Race-day check-in is only for participants who registered and paid in advance; the organisers do not offer on-the-spot entry. For the 100K, the final finish deadline is 11:00 am on Sunday 1 November. Competitors should study individual checkpoint limits and follow the latest final race instructions, which may supersede advance information.
Mandatory equipment varies by distance. The organiser's rules cover working lights, waterproof layers, hydration supplies, personal cups, a bear bell and additional safety gear. There are no disposable cups at aid stations. Deposit bags and a support area are available at the main venue, subject to the published rules. The race fee includes accident insurance and access to the hot spring bath. The commemorative T-shirt is optional at extra cost rather than an included benefit.
Travel and awards
The organiser lists designated parking and intercity transport approaches. There is no race shuttle from Fukuoka Hachikita-guchi express bus stop; arrange an onward transfer and accommodation independently. Men's and women's overall awards cover first to fifth, alongside age-group prizes. ITRA point figures displayed on the source artwork describe the 2025 results only; the organiser says the 2026 allocation is determined after the race.
