THE CHALLENGE RACE FUKUOKA 4 - Fukuoka 2027

THE CHALLENGE RACE FUKUOKA 4 takes place on Saturday 27 February 2027 at Uminonakamichi Seaside Park in Fukuoka, Japan. This is the fourth numbered Fukuoka race in the organiser's series, distinct from the third edition scheduled for 9 January 2027. It offers a marathon, half marathon, 10.4 km, 5 km and one-mile race. The 10.4 km course is not JAAF-certified.

The organiser uses a flat 5.2 km park circuit passing wooded areas and ponds, with a reported elevation variation of less than five metres. Eleven pacing groups are advertised for marathon targets between 2 hours 40 minutes and 4 hours 20 minutes. Refreshments include drinks and energy gels at course stations.

On race day, bib and timing-chip collection runs from 09:00 to 10:00 Japan time at Hikari to Kaze Plaza. The one-mile race starts at 10:40; the other races start at 11:00. The marathon limit is 4 hours 30 minutes and the half-marathon limit is 2 hours 30 minutes. Runners can access event photos and downloadable results certificates through the organiser's account system. The venue is approximately a 20-minute walk from JR Uminonakamichi Station.

Standard entry fees are JPY 11,000 for the marathon, JPY 7,700 for the half marathon, JPY 5,500 for 10.4 km, and JPY 3,300 each for 5 km and one mile.
