Lusa Merdeka Lap 2025 presents a unique 5-kilometer team run filled with the spirit of Indonesian independence. Each team consists of two participants who will follow a route starting from Lusa by Suka, passing through the Canggu Shortcut, and heading towards Batu Belig and Berawa Beach. More than just running, participants will face exciting traditional challenges such as the kerupuk-eating contest, sack race, and marble-and-spoon relay classic Independence Day games that bring out the joy of celebration and community togetherness.
Beyond being a sporting event, Lusa Merdeka Lap carries a powerful social mission. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Rescue 2000 to help build homes for families living in inadequate conditions. At the final challenge, each team will carry a 10-kilogram bag of regenerative rice from the beach back to Lusa by Suka, symbolizing a meaningful contribution to those in need. This event welcomes everyone to join, friends, couples, family members, even colleagues making it a shared and purposeful experience.
