2027 Ang Pau Run

2027 Ang Pau Run brings Miri's Chinese New Year running tradition back to Marina Park City on Saturday, 30 January 2027. The evening programme offers a social 3K Fun Run alongside a competitive 5K Men & Women Open race, with both distances scheduled around the published 7:00pm MYT event start.

The current edition uses a festive Year of the Goat theme and is designed as both a community run and a race-night celebration. JomRun has published separate current-edition route graphics for the 3K and 5K courses. Detailed course elevation, aid-station information and official cut-off times are not stated in the accessible current material, so they have not been inferred from previous editions.

Registration closes at 11:59pm MYT on 31 December 2026. The published fee schedule offers an RM48 early-bird rate for the first 200 participants, followed by a normal rate of RM58 per person. The official event page also advertises winner cash prizes for the competitive race and a Lucky Draw Cash Ang Pau, although the lucky-draw values remain to be confirmed.

Race-pack collection is scheduled for Friday, 29 January from 10:00am to 6:00pm at Bulatan Park, MMA Office. The event is therefore a practical short-distance option for local runners, families and visitors looking for a festive night run in central Miri.
