Alor Setar Urban Run 2026

Alor Setar Urban Run 2026 is a first-edition community race organised by KEVENT Management Sdn Bhd with support from Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Kedah (PKNK). The event is based at Ukir Arena in central Alor Setar and was created as a relaxed run-and-walk around the city in conjunction with Alor Setar Car Free Saturday.

The organiser initially announced the race for 7 November, but the current official Howei change-of-date artwork and KEVENT organiser listing confirm that it has moved to Saturday, 14 November 2026. The revised programme runs from 7:00am to 9:00am MYT at the same venue. ARC therefore uses the new date rather than the superseded date still visible in older organiser posts and stale page copy.

The programme offers 3K and 5K options and was launched with a deliberately limited field of 500 participants. Organiser updates in August reported strong early uptake, including 40% of places filled shortly after opening and only 25% remaining by mid-August. The organiser also confirmed that the flag-off and supporting activities are centred inside Ukir Arena, with a lucky draw planned for race day.

Current official artwork confirms an exclusive event tee, wristband, refreshment, digital certificate and finisher medal. Race-kit collection is scheduled for Friday, 13 November from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at Ukir Arena. Registration is scheduled to close on 7 October or earlier if the allocation fills. The live registration page currently shows an overall fee range of RM30 to RM35; because it does not expose a reliable text mapping of each fee to each distance, ARC does not invent per-distance pricing.
