CIDB Half Marathon 2026

CIDB Half Marathon 2026 returns to Dataran Putrajaya on Sunday, 13 December for its third edition. Organised by Kelab CIDB WP Kuala Lumpur, with Kita Pelari Malaysia and Pure Events named as technical/co-organising partners, the event is supported by Malaysia's Ministry of Youth and Sports and Perbadanan Putrajaya. The 2026 edition is staged alongside Putrajaya Car Free Day and combines competitive road racing with a broader family and community programme.

The headline half marathon includes open, Malaysian open and Malaysian veteran divisions. A 10K race is offered for Malaysian open and veteran runners, while the 5K Family Run and 3K Brisk Walk are open to all ages. The overall event listing starts at 04:30 MYT. Current organiser material confirms timing chips for the 21K and 10K, while the 5K and 3K are untimed. The organiser has not yet exposed a text-readable current-edition route map or reliable category-by-category flag-off timetable, so ARC does not infer those details.

Beyond the races, the organiser is promoting a Family Zone, Mari Mencuba activities and Zumba Fitness. CIDB vendors, contractors and members are also advised that participation can earn CCD points, linking the event to the construction-industry community as well as the wider public.

Registration opened on 18 July. The current early-bird period runs through 31 October, with normal registration scheduled through 30 November unless categories fill earlier. Run-kit collection is on 11 and 12 December from 10:00 to 19:00 at Auditorium Tun Azizan Zainul, Kompleks Perbadanan Putrajaya. Participants should bring their confirmation slip and NRIC or passport; authorised representatives may collect on behalf of runners under the organiser's published collection rules. No race-day kit collection is offered.
