Event Detail
OG 8th Anniversary Run Alor Setar celebrates eight years of Oriental Global Event Management with an accessible community 5K at Alor Star Mall. Promoted under the theme Run, Move, Connect, Enjoy, the event is designed as a social fun run rather than a chip-timed competitive road race.
The morning programme begins at 6:45am with assembly activities, followed by a warm-up session at 7:00am and the 5K flag-off at 7:30am. The organiser's itinerary anticipates the first runners returning from about 8:00am, with a Zumba session at 8:15am, a lucky draw at 9:00am and the programme closing at 9:30am.
Alor Star Mall in the Tandop area serves as the event base. A final route map and race-kit collection arrangements remain to be confirmed, so participants should check the live registration page and organiser updates closer to race weekend. The current materials do not publish a cut-off time, aid-station plan or course certification, and runners should not infer those details from other anniversary-series rounds in Taiping, Ipoh or Bukit Mertajam.
