IJM Allianz Duo Highway Challenge 2025 took place on Sunday 3 August on fully closed stretches of the NPE and BESRAYA highways. A post-event report recorded over 13,000 runners from 31 countries. The seventh edition featured 42.195K full marathon, 21K half marathon, 10K and 5K distances, with the racing programme beginning at 3:00 am. Organiser communications described it as a World Athletics-certified highway running event.
