King of Kemensah Trail 2027

King of Kemensah Trail 2027 returns to Kampung Kemensah, Selangor for its 13th edition, continuing one of Malaysia's established jungle trail-running events. Organised by The Comrades in collaboration with Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya, the event is supported by the Selangor Forestry Department and Royal Malaysia Police, with MURA, ITRA and UTMB sanctioning listed by the organiser.

The two-day programme is split by race character. Saturday's 50K, 30K and 20K races begin with roughly 4 km of tarmac before moving onto the Kemensah trails, while Sunday's 15K, 10K, 6K and 3K categories are described as roughly half road and half trail. The current provisional course information gives elevation gains of about 1,632 m for 50K, 1,100 m for 30K, 654 m for 20K, 458 m for 15K, 285 m for 10K, 118 m for 6K and 101 m for 3K. All are planned as out-and-back courses. Detailed route maps and profiles are due around two weeks before race weekend, so those figures may still change.

The 50K has a 12-hour cut-off, followed by eight hours for 30K and six hours for 20K. Sunday cut-offs are five hours for 15K, four hours for 10K and two hours each for 6K and 3K. A previous full-marathon finish is required to enter the 50K, and proof may be requested.

The race is semi-self-sufficient. Longer-distance runners must carry hydration, mandatory safety equipment, food, a first-aid kit and an offline GPX reference, with lighter mandatory-kit requirements for shorter categories. Random gear checks can occur during and after the race. The organiser operates a bring-your-own-bottle/cup policy and does not provide disposable cups at water stations. Published station estimates range from none on 3K and 6K to four on the 30K and 50K.

Parking is directed to Zoo Negara Parking B and nearby spaces, with runners walking to the start area. Toilets, showers and prayer facilities are available near the venue. Medical personnel and an ambulance are scheduled to be on standby, and the organiser warns runners to expect muddy or slippery terrain, river crossings and changing trail conditions.
