GTGTZ Fun Run Penang 2026

GTGTZ Fun Run 2026 is a community 5K in George Town organised by Wellness Hub Timur Laut and the Timur Laut District Health Office. “GTGTZ” stands for George Town Getting to Zero, and the event combines accessible recreational running with public-health messaging about active living, a healthier Malaysia and efforts to stop HIV.

The run starts at 7:30am on Saturday, 28 November from the Timur Laut District Health Office on Jalan Perak. The organiser has capped the field at 500 participants. No official route map, cut-off time or timing-chip provision has been published, so entrants should treat this as a participation-focused fun run and follow the final briefing from marshals.

Registration costs RM20 for the first 400 entries and RM30 for entries 401–500. The published registration deadline is 31 October 2026, unless capacity is reached first. Every registered participant receives an event T-shirt. An exclusive finisher medal is limited to the first 300 participants who complete the run, rather than being guaranteed to every entrant. A lucky draw is also advertised, with prizes including a walking pad.

Race-kit collection is scheduled for 25–26 November, from 8:00am to 7:00pm, at Wellness Hub Timur Laut. Participants should collect within this stated window because the organiser says collection is unavailable outside the published arrangement.
