Garmin Run Marathon Series 2026 - Malaysia brings Garmin's international running circuit back to Putrajaya on Sunday, 1 November 2026. The Malaysian leg is part of a series that has expanded from its Asian origins into a 13-city programme across Asia and the United States. The local race offers a 10K and a 21.1K half marathon, with both Performance and Open participation options for runners seeking either a competitive start pen or a more accessible mass-participation race.
Race operations are centred in front of Mahkamah Syariah Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya in Presint 3. The current official registration platform lists the event opening at 03:30 MYT. Garmin's rules use wave starts for participant safety, with Performance runners starting ahead of non-competitive entrants. The exact category flag-off timetable and final course maps have not yet been published in crawlable official material, so runners should check the event website again before race week.
The 10K is open to runners aged 13 and above and has a 2 hour 30 minute cut-off. The half marathon is for runners aged 16 and above with a four-hour cut-off. Competitive-pen qualification standards are under 40 minutes for 10K men, under 50 minutes for 10K women, under 1:30 for half-marathon men and under 1:50 for half-marathon women. Intermediate course cut-offs may also apply.
Race Entry Pack Collection is scheduled for 30 and 31 October. The organiser allows authorised proxy collection for up to two race packs when the required authorisation and registration confirmation are provided, but no late collection is offered. A bag-deposit facility will operate with a maximum bag size of 36cm by 40cm, and runners are advised not to leave valuables.
Normal-price registration is listed at MYR 105 for the 10K and MYR 125 for the half marathon, excluding the mandatory MYR 4 group personal accident insurance charge and any delivery fee. The live registration platform currently shows all race categories as sold out, with the published normal-sale window ending on 30 September 2026.

Race Entry Pack Collection is scheduled for 30-31 October 2026. Official venue and daily collection hours are still to be announced. Proxy collection is allowed for up to two race packs with the required authorisation and registration confirmation; no late collection.
