Selangor Marathon 2026

Selangor Marathon 2026, also known as SELMAR 2026, is a major road-running event in Cyberjaya, staged with Tourism Selangor and Sepang municipal involvement as part of Selangor's sports-tourism programme. The Sunday programme covers the full range from a 42K marathon and 21K half marathon to 10K, 5K and a 2K Kids Dash, giving the event both competitive and community participation.

Race day begins early at Persiaran Flora. The 42K starts at 01:00 MYT with a 7 hour 15 minute limit. The 21K follows at 04:30 with a four-hour limit, the 10K at 07:00 with two hours, the 5K at 07:15 with 1 hour 30 minutes, and the Kids Dash at 07:45 with a 45-minute limit. Open categories are generally for adults, while the Kids Dash is for ages 6 to 12 and the 5K accepts runners from age 13.

The organiser classifies the event as entirely road based, but the final 2026 route is deliberately not yet treated as settled: current official guidance says it will be released about two weeks before race day. Estimated course support is one water station for 5K, three for 10K, six for 21K and twelve for 42K. Medical personnel and ambulance services are planned on site, and group personal accident cover is included in the registration fee.

Pacers and external support crews are explicitly prohibited, and runners who withdraw must report to officials or the nearest checkpoint. Race pack collection is scheduled in Cyberjaya on 30 and 31 October, with the exact collection venue still to be announced through the official SELMAR Facebook page. Runners should bring their QR-coded confirmation plus identification. The regular registration window runs through 30 September 2026, subject to earlier closure if quotas fill.
