YAPEIM Run 2026

YAPEIM Run 2026 is the first event staged under the YAPEIM Run name by Yayasan Pembangunan Ekonomi Islam Malaysia, bringing a large community running programme to Putrajaya on Saturday, 28 November 2026. YAPEIM has publicly set a target of 10,000 participants, giving the event substantial national-scale community significance rather than the character of a small local fun run.

The race hub is Dataran Wawasan on Persiaran Perdana, opposite the Ministry of Finance precinct. Four distances are offered: a 21 km half marathon, 10 km race, 5 km briskwalk/run and 3 km briskwalk/run. The half marathon starts at 5:00 am with a four-hour cut-off, the 10 km starts at 6:30 am with a two-hour cut-off, and both shorter categories start at 7:30 am with a 90-minute cut-off. The 21 km and 10 km races use timing chips, while the 5 km and 3 km are untimed participation categories.

The current programme also includes aerobics, Suppa Duppa Family Fun activities and a lucky draw, making the event suitable for runners travelling with family members. YAPEIM has announced a motorcycle as the headline lucky-draw prize, while contributors to its infak programme may also have an opportunity to win a gold bar.

Registration is currently open, with Super Early Bird pricing running from 1 to 25 October, Early Bird pricing from 26 October to 5 November, and the Normal Fee period from 6 to 20 November. Entry fees are subject to administration and insurance charges.

Run-kit collection details are still to be announced. The organiser states that participants must collect before race day, bring their confirmation slip or identification, and may appoint a representative to collect up to ten kits. No run-kit collection will be available at the event venue. Participants should check the official registration page for the final collection schedule and any operational updates before travelling.
