Event Detail
KOSAJ Neon Run 2026 is a Saturday-night 5 km running event hosted at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, on 12 December 2026. The neon theme and late-evening start distinguish this event from the usual early-morning race programme, giving participants an opportunity to enjoy an active night out in the Skudai university precinct.
Run information
The current event page lists one 5 km distance and an 8:30 pm Malaysia time flag-off. Registration includes a race jersey, finisher medal and race bib. The organiser has not yet published a detailed course map, so runners should follow the event's final briefing for the precise assembly point and route within or around the UTM campus. The campus coordinates shown on the ARC map identify the university grounds rather than a surveyed starting line.
Getting ready
UTM Johor Bahru is in Skudai, northwest of central Johor Bahru. Plan your arrival and transport for an evening event and allow extra time to locate the race village once the organiser publishes the exact check-in point. The race-pack collection venue, date and time are currently marked to be confirmed on the registration page; participants should monitor official notices rather than assume collection happens at the start.
The event's registration page advertises an 11 December 2026, 11:59 pm closing time (Malaysia time), subject to place availability. Check JomRun's current ticket listings for the applicable entry price and any final kit, safety or check-in instructions.
