2025 Results & Event Recap
The Kuala Lumpur RunFest S/Ekiden 30KM Team Relay 2025 took place on 9 November 2025 at KL Sports City near Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Kuala Lumpur. It was a team-based running challenge, not an individual 30K race.
What is an ekiden relay?
Teams of five runners collectively cover 30 kilometres, using repeated 2K loops for their assigned relay legs. Ekiden-style racing emphasises pacing, smooth handovers and team performance: the finishing result is associated with the team rather than one individual's 30K time.
The 2025 programme
The event advertised a 6:00 am start and used the Bukit Jalil sports precinct. The urban stadium setting differentiates the event from road marathons and long-distance trail ultras. The original listing provides the event structure; a fully independently verified 2025 team standings sheet was not recovered in this review.
