Race Against Cancer KL Car-Free Morning

Race Against Cancer KL Car-Free Morning brings Cancer Research Malaysia's community fundraising series to central Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, 31 January 2027. The 5K charity run is part of Cancer Research Malaysia's 25th-anniversary programme and raises awareness and funds for cancer research and community programmes, with the organisation focused on improving cancer outcomes for Asian populations.

The event is based at Dataran DBKL and is open to runners, joggers and walkers, including individuals, families and corporate teams. The Family Fun Run is open from age five. Participants under 18 require parental or guardian consent. Current event artwork gives a 7:00am to 11:00am programme window, with the 5K flagging off at 7:15am MYT. Registration terms state that participants must follow the organiser's designated route and that the course ends back at the stated event venue.

Two entry packages are currently offered before the platform administration fee. The RM60 option includes the event T-shirt, finisher medal and Cancer Research Malaysia goodie bag, while the RM50 option includes the event T-shirt and goodie bag without the medal. The main RaceXasia event page lists registration closing on 30 January 2027, while the live registration portal currently displays 31 January at 11:59pm. Because those current pages conflict, runners should treat availability as subject to the organiser's live registration status; the organiser also states that entries can close earlier if the quota is filled.

Current sources do not yet publish a race-pack collection timetable, course map, cut-off time, aid-station plan or prize schedule. Those details have therefore been left unset rather than inferred from the earlier Wangsa Maju Race Against Cancer round.
