Run For Arirang Kuala Lumpur 2026

Run For Arirang 2026 is a purple-themed fan-community road event that combines an accessible morning fun run with a music-fandom gathering at Heritage Valley in central Kuala Lumpur. The physical programme offers a choice of 3 km or 5 km, making it suitable for first-time runners, families, walkers and fans who want a social rather than highly competitive race experience.

The event is scheduled to begin at 7:00 am on Sunday, 22 November, with the organiser listing activities through midday. Individual distance flag-off times have not been published, so participants should follow the final race-day briefing. The organiser has not released a route map, elevation profile, timing method, cut-off times, aid-station plan or prize schedule; runners should therefore treat this as a participation-focused fun run and check the registration page for later updates.

Physical entries were offered in Standard and VIP packages, with the 3K and 5K sharing the allocation within each package. The registration platform currently marks the physical categories sold out, while its virtual option remains displayed. Registration is scheduled to close on 15 November, subject to availability. All registrations are non-refundable.

Race-kit collection is at Heritage Valley from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm on Saturday, 21 November. A second collection window runs from 5:00 am to 7:00 am on event morning, although participants are encouraged to collect the day before to reduce congestion.

There is no published minimum age. Participants below legal adult age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or have their consent. The organiser also asks entrants to check their contact details and shirt size carefully when registering. A separate VIP virtual run is available to eligible East Malaysian and international participants, with delivery of the virtual kit expected before event day and no proof of completion required.
