Larian Malaysia Aktif 2026

Larian Malaysia Aktif 2026 brings a three-distance road-running programme to Dataran Merdeka in central Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, 1 November. Staged by Jabatan Belia dan Sukan Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur and Kita Pelari Malaysia, with Pure Events as technical organiser, the event combines competitive 15K and 10K races with an accessible 5K brisk walk and run.

The 15K starts at 5:30am MYT and has a 2-hour 30-minute cut-off. The 10K follows at 6:30am with a two-hour cut-off, while the 5K starts at 7:30am and allows one hour 45 minutes. The published programme closes the finish line at 9:15am. The 15K and 10K each have Malaysian men’s and women’s open divisions for ages 17 to 39, plus veteran divisions from age 40. The 5K is open to all ages. Current rules state that the wider event is open to Malaysian residents, including non-Malaysians with valid Malaysian residency, from age five; younger participants should check the category-specific conditions before entering.

Early-bird fees run through 20 October: RM60 for the standard 15K package, RM50 for 10K and RM40 for 5K. Lower-cost shirt-and-bib-only options are RM40, RM30 and RM20 respectively. Normal rates apply from 21 to 28 October, and all published prices are subject to an administration fee and RM4 insurance charge.

Official entitlement artwork shows that standard 15K and 10K entries include a sublimation jersey, finisher T-shirt, race bib, timing chip, medal and e-certificate. The standard 5K package includes an event T-shirt, bib, medal and e-certificate, but no timing chip. Participants should check the registration page carefully because the lower-cost shirt-and-bib-only packages have reduced benefits.

Run-kit collection is scheduled for 30 and 31 October, from 11:00am to 7:00pm, at Decathlon NU Sentral. The event village is promoted as family-friendly, with a children’s zone and activities around the historic square, opposite the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. Runners should review the organiser’s live registration page for final route, prize and race-week access updates.
