Limbang LusiRun 2026

Limbang LusiRun 2026 is a new community running event in Sarawak that combines road racing with a celebration of local heritage. The inaugural event is scheduled for Saturday 7 November at Lot 777, Limbang, with a 21K half marathon, 10K race and 3K fun run or walk. It is organised by Persatuan Anak-Anak Limbang Semenanjung (PAALS) with the Limbang Divisional Resident's Office and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Dangsanak Limbang-Miri.

The half marathon has open, Limbang and Lawas local, and veteran categories, with veterans aged 45 or older. The 10K open race is available to runners aged at least 16, and the 3K offers a more relaxed option. Entry fees announced for the current edition are RM120 for the half marathon, RM70 for 10K and RM60 for 3K.

Runners are encouraged to wear traditional Sarawak ethnic clothing. The organisers plan cultural performances, stage entertainment and lucky draws alongside the running programme. Cash prizes for the 21K are RM1,500, RM1,000, RM800, RM500 and RM300 for the first five places. The 10K has corresponding prizes of RM800, RM500, RM300, RM200 and RM150. There are also awards for traditional outfits and sporting spirit in the 3K.
