My Champion 5km Fun Run & Walk 2026

My Champion 5km Fun Run & Walk 2026 is a community health event in Ipoh held in conjunction with World Diabetes Day 2026 and Ipoh Low Carbon Day. Current organiser material from the Perak health authorities presents the run as a public awareness activity encouraging Malaysians to be more active while increasing awareness of diabetes. Participation is open from age seven, with separate men's and women's open registration categories covering the same 5K distance.

The event takes place at Dataran Bandaraya Ipoh, also known as Dataran MBI, in the Greentown civic precinct on Sunday, 22 November 2026. Current Race Roster and RaceXasia listings give the flag-off as 7:30am. Howei's event header shows 7:00am, so ARC uses the matching 7:30am time published by Race Roster, RaceXasia and current health-authority promotional material rather than treating the earlier header time as the flag-off.

The field is limited to 2,000 participants. Entry includes an event T-shirt, finisher medal, goodie bag, e-certificate, lucky-draw eligibility and insurance. Registration closes on 28 October 2026, or earlier if available places are filled. The current late-entry rate is RM50 before platform/admin charges and the stated RM3 insurance fee.

Organisers require participants to collect their T-shirt and bib at the designated collection session and state that uncollected race packs will be treated as cancelled. Final collection timing is not yet exposed clearly enough in the accessible current material to store safely, so runners should check the registration page for the organiser's confirmed race-pack instructions closer to event day.
