Nasi Lemak New Year Run Miri 2027

Nasi Lemak New Year Run 2027 is a community road-running event in Miri that pairs an early-morning race programme with a distinctly Malaysian post-run theme. Organised by Bulatan Park Runners Club with technical support from Laksa Runners Miri, it is designed for both recreational participants and runners seeking a short competitive test at the start of the year.

The programme offers an open 3K brisk walk and fun run, plus separate men’s and women’s open divisions over 5K and 10K. A group workout begins at 6:15am MYT. The 10K starts first at 6:30am, followed by the 5K and 3K at 6:35am.

All races start and finish at Miri City Hall in Marina Park City. The published 3K route heads along Jalan Bandaraya and Jalan Abang Abdul Rahman, passing a checkpoint near Miri Times Square and a water station near Marina Square Phase 2 before returning to City Hall. Current-edition route graphics have also been issued for the longer races.

Competitive 5K and 10K divisions award cash to the first five men and women. Race-pack collection is scheduled for Saturday, 16 January from 10:00am to 5:30pm at the Bulatan Park Runners Club office in Taman Bulatan.
