Warrior Night Run 2026

Warrior Night Run 2026 brings Gleneagles Hospital Penang's established Warrior Run concept back as an evening 5K at The Waterfront Shoppes in Gelugor. The event is framed around resilience, perseverance and healthier living, with the hospital encouraging participants to move together and "rise beyond limits" rather than presenting the night as an elite road race.

The 2026 edition takes place shortly after The Waterfront Shoppes' scheduled opening at The Light City, placing runners at Penang's new east-coast waterfront precinct. The development is beside the Penang Waterfront Convention Centre and its waterfront promenade, near the Penang Bridge and Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway. The published event poster gives an 8:00 PM flag-off.

The current registration material lists one 5K distance and a flat RM48 entry fee. Participant entitlements include the official event T-shirt, finisher medal, light refreshment, sling bag, e-certificate and insurance. Gleneagles Hospital Penang is the named organiser, continuing a Warrior-branded running programme that has previously staged events in Penang.

Registration is currently open through Howei and is advertised to close on 20 October 2026.
