Event Detail
Kota Kinabalu 10K Challenge Powered by JomRun® takes place at Tapak Dataran Stadium Likas on Sunday, 15 November 2026. The event combines a competitive 10K with a non-competitive 5K and is the Kota Kinabalu round of JomRun's Borneo 10K series, which also includes races in Sibu, Bintulu, Miri and Kuching. Runners who complete the full series are promoted as eligible for an Ultimate Finisher Medal.
The published event time is 04:45 MYT. The 10K is the performance-focused category and uses a TrackAsia RFID timing-chip bib, while the 5K is explicitly non-competitive and uses a bib without a timing chip. Current organiser material also publishes podium and trophy artwork for the competitive race, although exact prize values are not safely available in accessible text and have not been guessed.
Both categories include an Ultron event jersey, distance-specific finisher medal, e-certificate and light refreshments. The 10K additionally includes an Ultron finisher jersey. The registration page closes at 23:59 MYT on 14 November 2026, subject to availability.
Race-pack collection details and the route map remain officially marked To Be Confirmed. Runners should therefore check the live JomRun event page before race week for the final collection venue, route, category-specific flag-off details and any operational updates. The venue reference is the Likas Stadium sports precinct rather than a claimed surveyed start-mat position.
