Selama Ultra 2027

Selama Ultra 2027 returns to rural Selama in northern Perak for a multi-distance trail weekend centred on Dewan Semai Bakti, Felda Ijok. The Bongcit Hub, listed as TEAMBONGCIT on the current NR registration platform, describes the event as a continuation of an established local ultra that has been building recognition among Malaysia’s trail-running community. The course character is rural rather than urban, combining rolling hills, traditional villages, plantation landscapes and the green countryside around Selama.

The 2027 programme offers five distances: 85K, 55K, 35K, 15K and a 5K Fun Trail. The flagship 85K starts at 17:30 on Friday 9 April and has a 24-hour limit. The 55K starts at 00:30 on Saturday with an 18-hour cut-off; 35K starts at 03:30 with 12 hours; 15K starts at 07:00 with six hours; and the 5K starts at 08:00 with three hours. The current programme closes at 20:00 on Saturday after the longer-distance prize ceremony and final cut-offs. Current event artwork also carries UTMB Index branding.

Registration is open, with the current Early Bird tier running through 15 October 2026 and Normal registration scheduled from 16 October through 7 March 2027. Published Early Bird fees are RM50 for 5K, RM135 for 15K, RM180 for 35K, RM225 for 55K and RM269.50 for 85K; Normal prices are RM50, RM150, RM225, RM300 and RM385 respectively.

Race-entry pack collection is at Dewan Semai Bakti on 8 April from 14:00–20:00 and 9 April from 10:00–20:00, with pickup only and no home delivery. Current participant entitlements include an event tee, finisher medal, bib, refreshments, medical support, event insurance and e-certificate. The 15K, 35K, 55K and 85K also receive finisher tees and timing support. Podium prizes are advertised, although exact current prize values are not stated in the accessible text.

Detailed 2027 route maps, elevation profiles and aid-station plans are not yet published in accessible current-edition text, so runners should use the organiser’s final race-week information for definitive course and safety details.
