Sintok Trail Xperience 2027 is a two-day trail-running challenge based at Universiti Utara Malaysia Stadium, Sintok, Kedah, scheduled for Saturday 5 to Sunday 6 June 2027. The organiser's current-edition registration page on Howei confirms three courses: 20 kilometres, 50 kilometres and 100 kilometres, bringing recreational trail runners and experienced ultramarathon athletes together in northern Malaysia near the Thai border.
Trail-running experience
The event uses the greenery and rolling terrain around the university and Sintok area as its setting. Trail runners should prepare for uneven off-road surfaces, climbing, humid conditions and potentially muddy sections during the rainy season. The actual 2027 route maps, total ascent, checkpoint spacing, course cut-offs and compulsory equipment list have not been established from the current organiser information, so these must not be assumed from previous editions.
The 20K is the shortest advertised 2027 category; the 50K and 100K are ultradistance challenges. ARC's current distance selector does not contain an accurate 20K choice, so the 20K is documented in this description without incorrectly labelling it a 21K half marathon. All three are advertised on the official registration page.
Timing and venue
Howei lists the event as running from 5 to 6 June 2027, with a headline event time of 4:00 am on Saturday 5 June (Malaysia time, GMT+8). This is not confirmation that all three distances start at 04:00; participants should use the final category-specific race schedule issued by Northern Runners Resources. The event's designated venue is Universiti Utara Malaysia Stadium, within the Universiti Utara Malaysia campus in Sintok. Arrange transport and accommodation with the early-start schedule in mind.
Registration and runner arrangements
The official Howei organiser page currently describes registration as open, gives an overall MYR 120–500 price range, and lists 31 May 2027 as the entry deadline. This range must not be treated as the fee for any particular distance: choose your category in the registration portal for the current price, available packages and processing charges. Precise 2027 bib-collection hours, the final flag-off timetable, race entitlements, awards and medical-support arrangements should be confirmed with the organiser before travel. A 2027 official race-shirt design is displayed on the event page, but its package inclusion is not independently established for every category.
