How’s it going? Ready to embark on another adventure to preserve Indonesia’s environment with Lestari Mission 2023? Well, here’s some good news—Lestari Mission this year comes with an even more exciting concept! We’re going to run while completing cool missions in groups. Fun, right? Each group consists of 5 people, so quickly invite your coolest friends to join. Get ready for some exciting action for the preservation of our Earth!
The theme we’re embracing this year is “See Nature.” Lestari Mission, the third installment from YKAN, invites Friends of Lestari to understand the importance of preserving coral reefs and sustainable cocoa development, especially in the Berau region, East Kalimantan. Cool, isn’t it? Berau is one of the areas where YKAN operates, boasting incredible biodiversity on both land and in its waters.
Berau has about 72% of its territory still covered by natural tropical forests, and don’t miss this—the mangrove forest is the fourth densest in Indonesia. Moreover, its waters are part of the Coral Triangle, a World Coral Reef Triangle. Just imagine how amazing and crucial this area is for our environment.
And here’s the kicker—Friends of Lestari have a great chance to visit Berau in person! How? Just complete the missions and show that we can be the best at fundraising for Lestari Mission 2023. So, let’s get moving because it’s time to prove our dedication to the lasting beauty of Indonesia.

There are two ways to participate in this race:
- Unlock your slot now by donating Rp. 300,000,-. You will automatically become a participant (no multiple donations apply).
- Start your fundraising mission by donating a minimum of Rp. 10,000,-. You can gather donations totaling at least Rp. 300,000,- until November 19, 2023, to become a participant.
