Jpark Mactan International Marathon 2026

Jpark Mactan International Marathon 2026 is the inaugural full-scale destination marathon staged by Jpark Island Resort & Waterpark Mactan in partnership with the Bohol International Marathon team. Scheduled for Sunday, 11 October 2026 on Mactan Island, the event combines road racing with Cebu’s growing sports-tourism scene. Organisers have targeted at least 3,000 runners across four race categories, making the first edition a substantial addition to the Visayas running calendar.

The programme offers a 42K marathon, 21K half marathon, 10K and 5K, with Jpark Island Resort in Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City serving as the event base. Published race listings identify the courses as road races across Mactan Island. Current race information lists the event beginning from 04:00 local time, although separate category-specific flag-off times have not been independently published in the sources ARC could verify.

The organiser partnership brings in the Bohol International Marathon team for race operations. Event co-chair Michael Yu said the inaugural edition was being planned with 22 hydration stations across the race route. The collaboration is also intended to encourage runners to combine the race with travel in Cebu and Bohol, with Jpark having promoted dedicated accommodation packages for marathon weekend.

Regular entry rates were published at PHP 2,699 for 42K, PHP 2,199 for 21K, PHP 1,699 for 10K and PHP 1,299 for 5K. Registration was advertised through MEGATechPH and was scheduled to close on 31 July 2026. The original registration page is no longer returning the event correctly, so runners should treat registration as closed unless the organiser announces otherwise.

Race inclusions vary by distance. The 42K, 21K and 10K packages include an event shirt, finisher shirt, distance-specific finisher medal, timing-chip bib and post-race food; the 5K includes an event shirt, finisher shirt, timing-chip bib and post-race meal. Exact race-pack collection arrangements, cut-off times and prize schedules were not clearly published in the current sources reviewed, so those details should be confirmed through the organiser before race weekend.
