TBR InLife Dream Marathon 2027

The 16th TBR InLife Dream Marathon is built specifically around helping first- and second-time marathoners complete 42.195 kilometres. Rather than operating as a conventional open-entry race, the programme combines race day with a long preparation journey that begins months beforehand and is supported by The Bull Runner community, coaches and alumni.

The 2027 edition is scheduled for Sunday, 14 February in Filinvest City, Muntinlupa. The marathon starts at midnight, giving runners the cooler overnight and early-morning hours for the eight-hour course limit. The field is capped at 4,500 runners, and participation is restricted to people for whom this will be their first or second official 42 km marathon. The organiser also requires participants to submit a medical certificate before race day.

A defining feature is the 20-week preparation programme. Registered runners are offered Bull Circles, which are online talks covering marathon training, nutrition, race strategy and mental preparation, plus Bull Sessions, in-person running clinics held in Filinvest City. The published 2026-27 calendar builds progressively from running-form work through longer endurance sessions, culminating in race-specific preparation and a course briefing in early February.

Race day is designed around completion rather than podium competition. The organiser states that there are no race awards, reflecting the event's emphasis on guiding newer marathoners to the finish. The eight-hour cut-off is comparatively generous, and the event provides a race bib and timing chip as part of the race kit. Participants also receive training support before race day and finisher benefits after completing the marathon.

Applications for the 2027 field are closed. The published fee is PHP 4,600, with a portion directed to scholars of the Courage to Be Kind Foundation. Runners should follow official TBR communications for final race-day instructions, course details and participant updates.
