Event Detail

Ultra Trail Cordillera Philippines (UTCP) 2026 takes place on 24-25 October with its race village at Camp John Hay in Baguio City and courses extending into the mountain trails of Itogon, Benguet. The programme offers Dalan 10K, Tayaw 25K, Solibao 50K and Saleng 100K, giving runners options from a shorter trail race through to a demanding mountain ultra.

The event is organised by Aid Station Cafe, a Cordillera-based trail-running team, and the 2026 edition has been accepted as an Asia Trail Master Candidate Race. The official event site also displays ITRA, UTMB Index and Philippine Trail Running Association affiliations. The terrain is a defining part of the event: runners can expect pine-forest trails, mountain ridgelines, technical singletrack, wider dirt roads, highland communities and steep sections through the Cordillera landscape.

For the flagship Saleng 100K, Asia Trail Master lists a 02:00 start on Saturday 24 October, approximately 6,600 metres of climbing and a 32-hour finish cut-off. Solibao 50K starts at 03:00, with approximately 3,300 metres of climbing and a 15-hour limit. The official programme confirms all four distances.

The current 2026 event artwork lists regular entry fees of PHP 1,790 for 10K, PHP 2,990 for 25K, PHP 4,490 for 50K and PHP 7,490 for 100K. Registration is handled through the official UTCP website. A final public registration deadline was not verified in the material reviewed.

Camp John Hay is the event hub and Baguio is the main gateway to the Cordillera highlands. Runners should prepare for high-altitude mountain conditions and technical terrain rather than a conventional road-race experience. Exact 10K and 25K start times, their final cut-offs, race-pack collection arrangements, aid-station plans and prize details were not clearly published in the current sources reviewed, so participants should check the organiser's latest race instructions before travelling.
