In commemoration of National Children’s Day on July 23, Yayasan Gugah Nurani Indonesia, in collaboration with Cause ID, organized a special event aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle while also raising awareness for clean water access for children in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
Due to prolonged dry seasons, many remote areas in NTT suffer from limited access to clean water. As a result, children are often forced to sacrifice their time for school, play, and study as they queue daily to collect water, carrying 5-liter jerry cans.
With the theme “Brighter Future for Children”, this initiative aimed to support the development of clean water and sanitation facilities, ensuring a better future for the children in NTT.
Participants were encouraged to run or cycle as part of this meaningful journey, making every step and every ride a contribution towards a brighter future!
