KEEN Dark Forest Run Singapore 2026

KEEN Dark Forest Run 2026 is an after-dark Halloween trail-running event at Sarimbun Scout Camp, 70 Jalan Bahtera, Singapore 719921, on Saturday 31 October 2026. King Trail Events offers 8K (two loops), 12K (three loops) and 20K (five loops) on a roughly 4 km forest loop in Lim Chu Kang. The 20K is advertised as a UTMB Index-accredited race. Competitive and non-competitive runners have separate starts; a non-binary/open-gender division is also advertised across all three distances.

• 12K: competitive 6:50 pm, non-competitive 6:52 pm.

The published event window is 6:45–10:30 pm. The 8K course is described as approximately 70% gravel/dirt road and 30% trail, with two water points, approximately 53 m climbing and a 1.5-hour cut-off. Check the current organiser's route maps and race-day guide for all other course cut-offs.

Registration and entry fees

Registration is advertised until 30 October 2026, subject to capacity; no exact closing hour is provided. The currently advertised normal fees are S$60 for 8K, S$70 for 12K and S$88 for 20K. The reduced early-bird period ended on 28 June 2026. Whether each distance still has places must be checked on the official booking flow. The 8K and 20K distances are genuine races, but ARC does not currently have exact 8K and 20K distance IDs; they have not been mislabelled as 10K or 21K in structured categories.

Race-pack collection is scheduled for 24–25 October 2026. Confirm the pickup location, individual time slot and ID requirements with the organiser's race guide before travelling.

Essential safety and transport

A headlamp or hand-held torch is mandatory: sections of the course are in complete darkness. The camp is isolated and the organiser states there is no parking at the venue. Complimentary shuttle buses depart outside Kranji MRT Exit C before the event at 4:30, 5:00, 5:30, 6:00 and 6:20 pm. Return shuttles are advertised in the evening, with marshals directing participants; check the race-day guide for final arrangements, especially the last MRT train.

The organiser advertises a finisher medal, race tee, drawstring bag, race bib, timing, snacks, hydration and sponsor offers. Prizes are advertised for the first three male and female finishers in Open and Masters divisions. Read the official terms and follow marshals' directions throughout.
