Event Detail
The second SporTaiwan Gratitude Marathon takes place on Sunday, 13 December 2026 at Sanying Ceramics Riverside Park in Yingge, New Taipei City. The organiser specifically moved this edition one day later than its original 12 December announcement. The main races use the relatively flat riverside corridor along the left bank of the Dahan River, with start and finish at the same park. Part of the entry proceeds support charitable causes, and the organiser expects a relatively small field of about 799 participants.
Five race divisions and a cup-free event
The published programme offers 42K marathon (07:20), 21K half marathon (07:30), 10K challenge (07:40), 5K leisure run (07:50) and a separate 5K participant-and-dog division (08:00). Times are Taiwan local time (UTC+8), with an eight-hour marathon limit, four-hour half-marathon limit and two-hour 10K limit. The organiser's overview says the event ends at 15:30, while the detailed timetable says 15:00, so follow the updated pre-race briefing for the actual finish-area shutdown. Regular and dog-friendly 5K entries are different categories.
This is a bring-your-own-cup race: the organiser says it will not supply disposable cups at drink stations. Carry a reusable cup or hydration container. It also encourages public transport and states that the race precinct is within roughly seven minutes on foot of the Sanying MRT station area, subject to service status. Check transport operations before race day rather than assuming a new station is open.
Entries and entitlements
Registration is advertised until 15 November 2026 on the official entry portal, subject to available places. The regular entry prices are TWD 1,380 (42K), 1,280 (21K), 1,100 (10K) and 890 (either 5K). Reduced fees are available for qualifying returning SporTaiwan runners, along with 'sustainable' options that omit the event shirt. The competitive 42K, 21K and 10K divisions also require a TWD 100 refundable timing-chip deposit, charged separately. Postage is an additional charge based on parcel size and order quantity. Entry benefits include a ceramic finisher medal, bib, online certificate and post-race meal; standard packages also include a race shirt.
The organiser uses chip timing for competitive divisions and provides medical assistance along the course. It advertises awards for overall top-three men and women in the 42K, 21K and 10K and additional age-group crystal trophies, including a 70-plus division. Final eligibility and prize allocation depend on the official entry regulations.
Race pack delivery and participant rules
There is no conventional pre-race bib-collection expo for domestic entries. The organiser plans to post race materials starting around two weeks before the event. Enter a complete delivery address, recipient name and telephone number. Overseas visitors should follow the official instructions on delivery to their hotel or arranging venue collection. The organiser warns that rejected parcels caused by incomplete addresses may not be resent.
The organiser publishes time-dependent refund conditions, generally with an administrative fee; read them before paying. Weather, emergency and other force-majeure provisions are also detailed in its rules, and final changes to the route or schedule remain possible. The published event regulations include the full safety and refund terms.
