65th Anniversary Thaioil Charity Run 2026 - Si Racha

The 65th Anniversary Thaioil Charity Run 2026, held under the theme Run For Health | Run For Giving | Run For a Sustainable Future, takes place at Bang Phra Reservoir, Si Racha, Chonburi, on Sunday 6 December 2026. The lakeside setting and views towards Khao Chalak provide a scenic early-morning backdrop to this community charity event. Proceeds will support hospitals, public health centres and organisations improving quality of life across Chonburi province.

Race day and sustainability

The organiser advertises a 04:45–07:30 local-time event programme. This is the overall programme window, not separately confirmed gun times for the 5K and 10K. The event offers a 5 km fun run and a 10 km mini marathon. The published 2026 course diagrams and race-pack artwork can be viewed in the event gallery. Runners should check the official organiser updates for final meeting points, flag-off waves, parking and course instructions.

The 65th-anniversary edition aims to operate as a low-waste, carbon-neutral event. Its race shirts use recycled plastic-bottle fabric, with organisers stating approximately 20 recycled 500 ml bottles are used per shirt. The finisher medals use reclaimed materials, including wood and recovered underwater waste. Separate waste sorting and refill stations are planned, and participants are encouraged to bring reusable drinking bottles.

Entries, collection and awards

The originally advertised registration deadline was 15 November 2026, or earlier if places sold out. Registration is closed: the official ThaiRun event page displayed 'registration closed' on 23 October and again on 24 October 2026, even though the originally advertised deadline was 15 November. Do not assume places are available; contact the organiser about any fresh allocation.

Race-pack collection: Saturday 5 December 2026, 09:00–18:00, at the multipurpose building at the Regional Irrigation Office 9 welfare facility. Entrants should confirm any documents needed and whether representative collection is permitted before travelling.

The 5K offers awards for the first ten men and first ten women without age-group subdivisions. The 10K has separate male and female divisions for under 19, 20–39, 40–49, 50–59 and 60-plus runners, awarding the first five in each. Organisers also advertise ten fancy-dress awards across the two distances. Final award details remain subject to the official event rules.

The event's eco-friendly shirt, race bib, medal and food coupon are included in both race categories. The event promotes local food vendors and community enterprises alongside its charitable aims. Updates and queries are available through Thaioil Charity Run's official Facebook page or the published organiser helpline.
