Event Detail

Thep Sadet Trail 2026 takes place on 31 October and 1 November in the mountains of Doi Saket, Chiang Mai, Thailand. The race is based at the Thep Sadet Subdistrict Administrative Organisation and offers four advertised trail categories: 100K, 50K, 30K and 15K. The event is included in the ITRA National League and UTMB Index calendars, with demanding forest and mountain routes around the highland communities of Thep Sadet.

The 100K starts at 05:00 on Saturday, followed by the 50K at 06:00 and 30K at 06:30. The 15K starts at 06:30 on Sunday. These are Thailand local times (UTC+7). Official ITRA course information lists the 100K as approximately 101.73 km with 6,187 metres of climbing, the 50K as approximately 56.87 km with 3,626 metres, and the 30K as approximately 36.34 km with 2,414 metres. The shorter 15K is described by a current-edition race guide as approximately 13.7 km with 951 metres of ascent. Runners should treat the event distance names as categories, not precise GPS distances.

The ITRA record lists nine aid stations and a 29-hour limit for the longest race, although another current race guide quotes 33 hours. Participants should check the organiser's final rules and cut-off table before the start. Organiser artwork sets a limit of 200 runners in each category, or 800 across the event. Registration is through ThaiRun and was scheduled to close on 30 September 2026.

Bib collection is reported for 30 and 31 October, between 10:00 and 18:00, at the administrative venue. Entrants in Saturday's early-start races should confirm collection on Friday. Official current-edition artwork shows a themed finisher medal. The remote mountain venue requires planning for transport from Chiang Mai and suitable accommodation. The map marker represents the wider subdistrict rather than a surveyed start gate.
