Mae Moh Half Marathon 2026

Mae Moh Half Marathon returns to Lampang on Sunday, 25 October 2026 for its 33rd edition. First held in 1992, the event is described by organiser EGAT as the largest and oldest running event in Lampang and northern Thailand. Its 21.1 km course has held a World Athletics Road Race Label since 2024, and World Athletics lists the 2026 race on the Label Road Races calendar.

The programme includes a 21.1 km Half Marathon, 10 km Mini Marathon and 5 km Fun Run. The routes showcase the Mae Moh landscape, including reservoirs and limestone mountains, giving the race a strong destination-running character. The 2026 event is capped at 5,000 runners; EGAT reported 3,253 registrations by late July, split across all three distances.

Current organiser-derived race information lists the Half Marathon and 10K starting at 05:15, with the 5K starting at 06:00. Published cut-offs are 3 hours 30 minutes for the half marathon, two hours for the 10K and 1 hour 30 minutes for the 5K. Registration has closed: EGAT advertised entries through 31 August 2026 and the official ThaiRun page now marks the event as closed.

Regular entry fees published by EGAT are THB 900 for the Half Marathon, THB 700 for the 10K and THB 600 for the 5K. A THB 2,000 VIP race-pack option was also offered for all distances. Registered runners receive a specially designed 2026 CW-X race shirt. The event also maintains a royal-trophy tradition for the half marathon: eligible Thai male and female athletes who win the race three consecutive times earn permanent possession of the HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn trophy.

Current public sources agree that collection is scheduled for Saturday, 24 October, but the exact collection venue is not sufficiently consistent across current sources to store as structured ARC data.
