Ram Hero Run 2027

Ram Hero Run 2027 is a charity running event organised by Ramkhamhaeng Hospital to encourage exercise, raise awareness of heart health and help fund automated external defibrillators (AEDs) for public parks. The event is limited to 3,000 entrants and offers a half marathon, 10K, 5K and a non-competitive family 3K.

The race is held at Suan Luang Rama IX Park in Bangkok on Sunday 10 January 2027. Organiser route maps show courses around the park and the neighbouring Nong Bon Lake parkland. The registration platform lists actual mapped lengths of approximately 21.1km, 10.55km, 5.23km and 3.3km, although the event markets them as 21K, 10K, 5K and 3K.

Race-day programme

The park opens to participants at 5:00am and the opening ceremony and warm-up begin at 5:15am. The half marathon flags off at 5:30am, followed by 10K at 5:45am, 5K at 6:00am and 3K at 6:15am. Awards begin at 8:00am and the programme ends at 9:00am. Times are local Bangkok time.

The half marathon has a 3-hour-30-minute cut-off, the 10K has 2 hours 15 minutes, the 5K has two hours and the 3K has 1 hour 45 minutes. Water stations are planned at approximately 2km intervals. Competitive categories use chip timing and gun-time results. The 21K requires passage through checkpoints near kilometres 6 and 16, while the 10K has a checkpoint near kilometre 6. Missing required checkpoints can result in disqualification.
