Ronald McDonald House Mini Marathon Run For Kids Bangkok 2026

Ronald McDonald House Mini Marathon Run For Kids 2026 returns to Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, on Sunday 8 November for a morning of running, walking and support for families whose children are receiving hospital care. The event is organised by Ronald McDonald House Charities Thailand (RMHC Thailand) together with King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, the Thai Red Cross Society and the Faculty of Medicine at Chulalongkorn University.

Run for a meaningful cause

Funds help RMHC Thailand keep sick children and their families close to one another. Its programmes include Ronald McDonald House accommodation and meals near hospitals, mobile dental services for children in remote communities, and hospital playrooms that offer reassurance to young patients awaiting treatment. The charity marked 25 years of work in Thailand in 2026.

Race morning and course

The event programme runs from 04:00 to 08:00 Thailand time at the Two Kings Monument Plaza, Chulalongkorn University. Runners may choose the 3 km community walk-run or 10 km mini marathon. The organiser's 2026 course map shows the 10K following two loops through the university campus, passing academic buildings and the sports precinct. The starting and finishing point is on campus. Check the organiser's event announcements for precise wave flag-off times and any last-minute course instructions rather than treating the 04:00 event opening as the 10K starting gun.

Registration packages and delivery

Standard entries include a race T-shirt, bib, commemorative medal, event refreshments and activities. VIP participants may choose either distance and receive additional limited-edition merchandise, including a tote bag and souvenir socks, as well as the organiser's advertised reserved parking arrangements. The organiser offers a Double Happiness bundle for two 10K entrants and a Happy Family bundle for three 3K entrants; entrants must select the corresponding bundle at checkout to receive the discounted total.

Race packs are delivered by post, with dispatch starting from 25 October 2026. The announced postage charge is THB 60 for the first kit and THB 20 for each additional kit sent in the same order. Check delivery arrangements before registration if travelling from outside Bangkok.

Conditions and arrival

RMHC Thailand's current-edition conditions state that entry costs are not refundable or transferable if the event is postponed, changed or cancelled owing to circumstances beyond its control. Public transport or a taxi is encouraged. The organiser identifies MRT Sam Yan (Exit 2) and BTS Siam or National Stadium as options for approaching the university, followed by a walk to the starting area.

The separate virtual 10K is a different participation option and is not an additional on-site race distance. Refer to the official event information and ThaiRun registration page for the most current details.
