Event Detail

POCARI SWEAT Trail Run Thailand returns to Chiang Mai on 14–15 November 2026, with a five-course programme for mountain runners. The Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre is the central race hub and finish; the longest ultra starts separately at Wat Wimut Tikaram in Mae Win. The organiser's 2026 course pages give actual course distances which are not always identical to the rounded category names on promotional artwork.

Courses and challenge

  • PST100: 105 km with approximately 4,100 m of climbing. Starts Saturday 14 November at 05:00 from Wat Wimut Tikaram, Mae Win, and finishes at the convention centre. The time limit is 32 hours, ending at 13:00 on Sunday.
  • PST50: 50 km, approximately 2,400 m ascent. Starts Saturday at 07:30 at the convention centre, with a 16-hour cut-off.
  • PST40: 42 km, approximately 1,800 m ascent. Starts Saturday at 05:30 at the convention centre, with a 13-hour cut-off.
  • PST30: 34 km, approximately 1,200 m ascent. Starts Saturday at 06:30 at the convention centre, with a 10-hour cut-off.
  • PST15: 15 km, approximately 500 m ascent. Starts Sunday 15 November at 06:30 at the convention centre, with a 4-hour-30-minute cut-off.

All times above are local Thailand time (UTC+7). The event is a mountain-trail challenge rather than a flat road race: runners should use the published course maps and elevation profiles to judge their readiness, especially for the long climbs and extended time on foot. The organiser published route maps and elevation profiles for the 2026 distances in April.

Planning your race weekend

The organiser's programme begins at the convention centre on Friday 13 November, before Saturday's longer events and Sunday's 15 km run. PST100 runners have a different start venue: the organiser advertises a paid shuttle from the convention centre to Wimut Tikaram Temple, departing on Friday at 16:00 or Saturday at 03:00, priced at THB 290. Confirm shuttle reservations and exact collection instructions with the organiser rather than assuming transport is included.

Check the official race website and the individual 2026 route details for course updates, qualifying conditions, equipment guidance and runner notices. Registration status and closing date have not been independently verified; follow the organiser-linked form rather than assuming places remain available. The official category codes PST100/PST40/PST30 refer to actual 105/42/34 km courses respectively.

Advertised fees and registration checks

The 2026 race announcement summarised by RunLah lists THB 5,600 for PST100, THB 3,900 for PST50, THB 3,600 for PST40 and THB 3,300 for PST30. These are advertised prices, not a live availability check or confirmation of the final checkout total. RunLah does not list a reliable 2026 PST15 fee, so none is asserted here. The event organiser links to its own 2026 Cognito registration form; the form currently requires a password, so live entry availability and the exact deadline could not be confirmed. Contact the organiser before making plans.

Race-day logistics and awards cautions

The official race schedule confirms that race activity spans Friday 13 to Sunday 15 November, with different locations on Saturday for PST100 and the other races. For PST100 the separately bookable THB 290 organiser shuttle travels from the convention centre to Wimut Tikaram Temple, with departures at 16:00 Friday and 03:00 Saturday. Book transport directly through the organiser, not via an assumed included transfer. The organiser's awards page refers to male and female overall awards, but it also labels one division PST10 while the 2026 route programme lists PST15; award eligibility and prize amounts for this edition should therefore be confirmed rather than inferred. For final event notices, the organiser is also linked as Pocari Sweat Thailand on Facebook.

Race Pack Information

Race-pack collection is advertised for Friday 13 and Saturday 14 November 2026 at the Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre (CMECC). Confirm daily pickup hours and ID requirements with the organiser; these have not been independently verified.

Prizes

Official award notice lists overall male and female awards for PST100, PST50, PST40 and PST30. It also says PST10, which conflicts with the 2026 PST15 race programme; short-course award eligibility and any cash amounts must be confirmed with the organiser.
