The Gili Backyard Ultra will be the first Backyard Ultra event in Indonesia to be held on an island with a total circumference of just 6.7 kilometers. Taking place at Pondok Santi, Gili Trawangan, the event features an official Backyard Ultra world standard loop that circles a tropical island, offering stunning turquoise waters and world class views. The race will start on January 31, 2026 at 5:00 AM WITA, with runners completing a 6.7 kilometer loop every hour until only one remains.
This event is not only a test of physical endurance, but also a mental journey and a social movement. Each participant will receive a personalized crowdfunding page to raise a minimum of IDR 750,000 in support of mental health initiatives in Indonesia. The registration fee includes the official race t shirt, a goodie bag, and fast boat discounts to and from Bali. Participants who successfully raise IDR 2,500,000 will receive free return fast boat tickets.
